Fiber optic outlet OTO
(“Optical Telecommunication Outlet”)
Find your fibre-optic outlet and OTO ID
Your home has a dedicated fibre-optic outlet: the OTO (Optical Telecommunication Outlet). This is where you connect your Box to the Post Internet & TV fibre-optic network.
Where to find your outlet
Check these locations:
• Your home’s multimedia distributor, if available.
• The living room, beside the telephone or TV outlet.
• A bedroom or hallway, around 20 cm above the floor.
Remember to look behind furniture, too.
How to recognise your OTO ID
Your OTO ID is the unique number identifying your installation. You will find it on the outlet’s label.

Connect to the correct port
Outlets usually have four ports, numbered 1, 2, 3 and 4. During activation, we will provide the port number to use for your fibre-optic cable.
Your connection will not work with the wrong port. Please handle the cable carefully, as it is fragile.
